This is the podcast production checklist I use to produce the First Customers podcast.

Reach out to interesting people through email, social DMs, cold calls, in person, etc.
Schedule guest by sending Calendly link
Send booking confirmation email. Include Riverside recording session link. Set agenda expectations.
Record Episode on the date. Be 5 minutes early.
Make episode Cover in Canva
Edit full episode in Riverside
Export full episode from Riverside
Schedule full episode to publish on Youtube
Email guest of when episode is live on YouTube
After live on Youtube, schedule Show Notes blog post with summary, embedded youtube vid of full episode, highlights, links, & transcript
Post full episode on X
Post full episode on Facebook
Email show notes & full episode links to guest
Find & Edit best clip from Riverside using their AI tools
Export best clip from Riverside
Schedule social posts (linkedin, X, FB) with the less than 1 minute clip through Buffer
Add link to show notes in comments to each social clip post
Schedule Youtube Short with show notes link
Post clip to TikTok
Post clip to Instagram
Post clip to Reddit
Email links to clip on social sites to guest so they can engage
Send wrap-up email to guest thanking them for being on the show and promoting the episode.
