My True Father

The sky reminds me of Our Father in Heaven

My father told my mother he didn’t want any more children. SURPRISE! I was the last of his nine kids.

When I was 2 months old they separated. Other than a few phone calls, I never saw the guy again. In 2005 I found out that he died alone in Costa Rica in 2003, two years earlier.

When I was a kid I was taught that the Bible says God is a father to the fatherless. It says that he fights for them. I grabbed onto that. I viewed the Creator of the Universe as my true Father. Even more so after I found out my biological father was dead.

God has now seen fit to make me a father, so that I can give what I never had. The enemy may have wanted to ruin my life, but God turns into good, what is meant for evil.

It is my goal to get to know this God who loves the unloved. I’ve seen glimpses of His power and daily experience His love. Now I’ve dedicated my life to see more.
