Very useful plugins. I will definitely be downloading some of these today!

YARPP is definitely my favortie plugin from this list. I never develop a site without using this unless the client for some strange reason doesn't want/need related posts.

As for caching, I've always used WP Super Cache. I'd be interested in comparing that to Total cache, however.

I originally used WP Super Cache myself, until I saw that Total Cache included a lot of other functionality like minifying CSS & Javascript.

Here's a more thorough review of W3 Total Cache and how it compares to WP Super Cache: http://www.brentozar.com/archive/2009/08/w3-tot

After further research I'm going to switch back to WP Super Cache until W3 Total Cache reaches version 1.0

    What's the reason for this?

  • parisvega

The reason I'm switching back is because I kept having errors in my admin because I hadn't taken the time to COMPLETELY tweak all the options available with Total Cache. So I decided, for the sake of convenience, to use Super Cache since you basically install it, click enable and you're good to go. Total Cache will be awesome when its been developed a bit more.
